Job Description: Warranty Administrator

Responsibilities: 

The Warranty Administrator records and submits warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor and reconciles them accordingly.

  • Process warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor.
  • Efficiently and effectively coordinate claims input and warranty claim administration. 
  • Ensure claims are input correctly and on a timely basis with all relevant information included. 
  • Seek out and understand all manufacturer's publications relevant to warranty claim administration. 
  • Maintain accurate knowledge on all warranty claim processes and procedures. 
  • Communicates issues and trains others regarding compliance with factory requirements.
  • Ensure repair order document storage complies with established corporate, legal and manufacturer's retention requirements. 
  • Responsible for working schedules and collecting unpaid warranties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Must possess strong attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
